NARA Map Z33-43 (NSU-LA #1365), Record Group 77, shows the roads in the area and location of both Double Bridge and New Spanish Town. As best as I can tell, New Spanish Town was about 3.5 miles east of Marthaville on Rte 120, just before the northwesterly road turns west toward Marthaville (approximately 3/4 miles north of the current location of Shamrock. Double Bridge appears to have been located just SW of Shamrock, and about 1.5 miles WNW of Robeline (White Store in 1864).

If you send me your e-mail, I will send you a scan of this portion of the map. The Z33-43 map is lager than i can scan, but I can scan the section between Robeline (White Store) and Marthaville.
