The Louisiana breast plate being offered with it pretty well seals the deal. I know some 11th Corps Federals were treated there as well and even Francis Barlow I believe but this is right smack in the middle of where Hays's men swept the 17th Connecticut skirmishers ahead of them down the Harrisburg Road. I'm glad the auction was canceled. I hope we never get so callous as to make human remains collectibles. It's bad enough that people would rob graves looking for buttons or belt plates.
