What is the significance of the absence of a record with the full name John Conrad Kuntz? Do you think it means that the records for two separate people were combined into one? With the middle name Conrad, it doesn't look like that's my man after all, which is disappointing. I thought I was close to figuring out why my ancestor disappeared during the civil war.
