The 150th Red River Campaign Symposium held March 14-16, 2014 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Shreveport/Bossier City & Mansfield Battlefield State Historic Site was a joy to attend. Hat's off to Dr. Gary D. Joiner, his wife Marilyn, and all involved. It was crystal clear that a lot of hard work went into hosting the symposium which was a superlative in every respect. so I only wish there could be more!
