There is a new book showing photos and providing some biographical information on St. Landry Parish residents who served in the Civil War. It is called "St Landry's Civil War Faces (150th Anniversary of the Civil War in Louisiana)" by Randy Decuir. Might be interesting for folks who have ancestors from St. Landry.
