I'm sorry but I have no connection to Fonda or Illinois. I work at the Camp Moore site which Col. Fonda overran with his troops in 1864. I am always seeking more information on Camp Moore and obviously Col. Fonda's expeditions are important in that quest. Thanks for asking. If you know of other sources involving his movements in Louisiana, I would be most interested. Thank you.
