Was wounded at the battle of Yellow Bayou in the hand according to records. He was a member of Waller's Texas Cavalry Regiment. I have found his name on the casualty rolls for the wound but he disappeared after that .. wondering where to check regarding hospitals or anything else that might shed some light on him.
