Hi, my great great grandfather, Barney H. Sears, was in company K. I have spent the last 3 years working on his war record with the 19th. If you email me, I'll send you some of my information. One of the things that I did was take Carter's book and make calendar of all the dates and locations as the unit moved. It seems to be within a day or two of the records and other books out there. Also the University of Texas has the medical logs for The Ladies Hospital, Montgomery AL. which the 19th sent wounded to. There is another unit relative that has traced the 19th movements in great detail on a map but has not shared that the data that I know of. It would be nice if there was better web site out there that we could all add data for the 19th as we find it.
