The title is "The Tiger Rifles: The Making of a Louisiana Legend." I narrowed my focus to Company B of Wheat's Battalion, the one with the zouave uniforms, because I wanted to zero in on as many of the officers and men of that colorful company as I could. I enjoyed doing the research and writing and hope it adds to the history of that famous unit. I tried to find new or little known facts about Captain White and the other officers and men. I added a chapter on modern tourist sites connected to the Tigers.
