Can anyone provide insight on the New York Times correspondent from Louisiana that signed his name "NEMO" to numerous articles? I've been in contact with The Times and they offered some good leads. One of their suggestions was to contact James McPherson that wrote "The Most Fearful Ordeal" in 2004. It follows the coverage of The Times during the war. Before I purchase the book to look for clues I was curious if any of our hardcore contributors-researches may have a clue as to who this guy was. Thanks.
