Mike,

Here's his information from Booth's Records,

Mangham, A. G.,Pvt. Co. B, 11th Battn. La. Inf. En. May 6, 1862, Natchitoches, La. present on all Rolls to Feb., 1863. Roll March and April, 1863, Absent, captured on board Queen of the West, April 14, 1863. Federal Rolls of Prisoners of War, Captured Bayou Teche, La., April 14, 1863. Paroled below Port Hudson, La., May 11, 1863. Also borne on Rolls of Cons. Cres. Regt. La. Inf. as Pvt. Co. K. En. Natchitoches, La., May 6, 1862. Roll Jan. and Feb., 1864, Present (only Roll on file). Roll of Prisoners of War, C. S. A., Paroled at Natchitoches, La., June 6, 1865. Res. Natchitoches Par., La.

Manghan, A. G.,Pvt. Queen of the West. Appears on Register of Prisoners of War, dated April 25, 1863, Captured Grand Lake, La., April 14, 1863. Roll not dated of Prisoners of War, exchanged New Orleans, La., _.

Manghain, A. G.,Pvt. Co. K, Cres. Cons. La. Inf. Roll of Prisoners of War, C. S. A., Paroled Natchitoches, La., June 20, 1865. Res. Natchitoches, La.

He was captured on board the Queen of the West. By googling the Queen you will see more information on the ship and its battles. You can find out more by ordering his service records. Just click on the red box at the top of this screen.

For information on his units and the battles they fought in I would highly recommend Arthur W Bergeron's book, "Guide to Louisiana Confederate Military Units, 1861-1865."

As far as photos, its not going to be likely. Photos of any 11th Battalion or Consolidated Crescent soldiers are almost non-existant. If you find any or have any family information on Mangham I would love to see it.
