Thank you very much for this, I treasure info like this. I have a CSA sword that my grandmother gave me that she said belonged to Lemon. I have done lots of searching for the Thigpens(Thickpenny) and found it rich on history and information. I have been to Vicksburg many times and looked in CSA records and just could not find anything. So thank you very much
