Although it's dated news, I just learned that Dr. James G. Hollandsworth, Jr., passed away this fall. Jim was very interested in the Civil War in Louisiana, and wrote the books "The Louisiana Native Guards" and "Pretense of Glory," a biography of Nathaniel Banks. I had the pleasure of knowing Jim for a number of years and he was a true gentleman and scholar who will be sorely missed.
