Thank you very much for this extremely useful information. Yes, I knew Col. Denson was buried in Galveston where my Mother was born on the 23rd February, 1911. She always thought Col. Denson had died the day she was born when he was thrown from his horse. I have given to my son Philip, who lives in North Carolina, the original of Col. Denson's certificate as a Member of the Texas Bar Association. I also have his bible which he carried with him throughout the Civil War, which I am now sending to my son Philip, whose full name is Christian Philip Denson Marchington. I also have some photos of Col. Denson so let me know if you would like a copy. I live in France by the way.
