Terry, now that you say that...I read a letter from a soldier in the 16th & 25th Louisiana, written from Shreveport, in which the soldier said that Lindsay did not want the men leaving town for some reason. Of course, after spending the last hour looking for it to document the date, etc. I can't find it. If I find it I'll elaborate on it. To me it was late 63 or very early 64.
