Jones Company, Louisiana Volunteers* May 20, 1861 at Lynchburg, Virginia/Carol Parish, Louisiana, by Capt. R. W. Jones for 3 years of the war, advanced to Captain, n.d., wounded June 27/28, 1862 at Frazier's Farm, appointed Quartermaster (AQM) & transferred to Quartermaster's Department October 18, 1862, relieved on or about August 11, 1864,

* This company was attached to the 14th Regiment Louisiana Infantry Sept. 19, 1861 and became Company I (Tiger Bayou Rifles) of that regiment
