Was going through the "Adjutant General's Report, State of Louisiana" (New Orleans, 1890) noted in an earlier post and found reference to the 15th Louisiana Infantry Battalion, Sharpshooters. Does anyone have an idea as to where they operated? Where they in the ANV? Have not seen this unit referenced as a part of the 1st or 2nd La Brigades or the Consolidated La Brigade.

I have found references (order of battle) on an individual's web site, in which specific companies being assigned sharshooter duties, during the later part of the war in Virginia, and after the consolidation of the two La Brigades.
