I am specifically interested in the name of the Asst Surgeon or Surgeon on the CSS Webb in the first half of 1863, including during the events surrounding the capture of the USS Indianola on February 24, 1863. Reports in the OR and ORN mention the name of the Surgeon on the CSS Queen of the West (and some officers and crew on both ships), but not that of the CSS Webb Surgeon.

I don't know if the Surgeon would be considered a "crew member," or as someone assigned to serve,but not an "official" crew member. If you have any thoughts on that I would appreciate hearing from you.
