Escaped after capture at Gettysburg

Either Thomas Burch of 9th LA Co. C or Co. I (unclear) -OR- H. S. Bayclair 21st Miss Co. F. escaped a POW camp in September 1863. These two were taken prisoner at Gettysburg, PA 2 July 1863. Prisoners were transferred to Point Lookout the following month, October 1863. The record is difficult to read in that the bottom portion of the image (paper) is destroyed on the right sided page. There are lines across the top of the page joining both pages, but no visable (to me) lines totally across the page or throughout the middle of both pages to ascertain between the two men.

Thomas Burch is also on the roll of prisoners but in the 9th LA Cavalry Battalion., which was later 3rd Rgmt Wingfields Louisiana Cavalry in 1864.

Civil War Soldiers and Sailors System NPS indicated two records one for 9th and one for 3rd Rgmt Wingfield's LA Cav.
CWSS. NO Thomas Burch specifically using the search for Confed, and from "Louisiana". 14 other Thomas Burch's are listed, but not from 9th Louisiana. A simple search of first name T. and last name Burch revealed these records.
