If the usual pattern held for West Louisiana, there would have been two camps -- one on either side of the Red River -- with temporary camps and assembly points elsewhere. Unless evacuated or overrun, most conscripts would have eventually gone to one of the two main camps. The two main camps should have had a camp commanders plus staff, which lesser camps would not have had.
