I have a digital copy of what appears to be a carte-de-visite from the Civil War time period, which was provided by the direct descendants of a 2nd Louisiana Cavalry (CSA) lieutenant. Along the bottom of the carte-de-visite is the following: Kilbourne - Baton Rouge, with the photographer's name being in larger print and both surrounded by a graphic design. I would appreciate learning if any of you are familiar with the photographer Kilbourne, and if there is any known location where his work is archived and/or his personal, professional career documented.
