I visited that museum back in 04 and was told the flag was not from the Tigers. The guy there had some reason why, but not convencing to me. My gg uncle, F A Hamm, wrote a short story about him self and said he was a "guiadon or flag bearer" and wrote about Austin Eastman and others. I have not been able to completely prove his flag story, only what he wrote on the inside of a book cover. His military records and penson papers show he was wounded at the First Bull Run. The museum was really nice and I hope it fully recovers from the hurricane.
