Letters of Col. James E. Harrison

Thanks for the suggestion. The 3-page letter that Col James E. Harrison wrote about the fight at Montgomery was full of information that brought the event to life almost like a movie scene, especially Col. Harrison sneaking up thru the woods armed with a pistol and firing the first shot a Union officer seated in a chair on the ship to start the surprise attack. It will be great to read Harrison's letter that you suggested about Yellow Bayou/Norwood's Plantation.

I can not thank-you enough for your postings which have helped me so much in my research!
