Second Manassas

I had an ancestor (Joseph H. Dale) that was wounded at Second Manassas. He was a Lt. at the time, and I think he was commanding his Co. ( 15th La. Inf., Co. I) by Aug. 30, 1862. The prior Co. Commander was killed at Groveton on Aug. 28. Would anyone have knowledge about where one might inquire about medical records of those seriously wounded at that famous battle?....thank you, Michael Dale
