I just remembered the source of the letters which I have read - Gary Joiner's "Little to Eat and Thin Mud to Drink) (2007 - UTenn Press). I notice on page 165 of this book that you have the letters Jefferson Morgan sent to Amanda Ann Sportsman Morgan. I would greatly appreciate seeing the full text of the letter if possible. Are there any other references to Taylor Hospital in your collection?

I did Google the "Louisiana Seminary of Learning and Military Academy" and was able to find the drawing of the building in Pineville. Thanks for sharing this information.
