Jay Dardenne, Louisiana's Secretary of State, will speak to the Civil War Round Table of Central Louisiana on Thursday, May 7th, 2009 at the Visitor's Center of the Kent Plantation House (3601 Bayou Rapides Road, Alexandria). The meeting will start at 6 PM. Dardenne will speak on "Ghosts of Louisiana's Political Past: The Civil War". EVERYONE is invited to attend, whether a member or not. No fees charged and refreshmants are free at our campaign season ending meeting. We will not have another meeting until September so come and enjoy a talk on Louisiana's rich history.
