My Great-Great Grandfather, G. H. Dennis, served in the Claiborne Regiment, Louisiana Militia circa 1861 to 1865. Does anyone know what campaigns and battles this unit fought in? I am also interested in seeing if there is a roster of the men who served in this unit. G. H. Dennis is listed on the Civil War Archives set up by the United States Parks and Service, but I would like to flesh out the man more thoroughly to give me an idea of what he went through.
