Does any one have any information on an egagement frought on Dec 4,1864 at Moody's Ferry ,Mississippi.This near Augusta ,Miss.Gen Davidson in his expedition against the Mobile and Ohio Railroad.It was here Gen. Davidson set the the 2nd New York across the Leaf River.After crosing the lLeaf River they proceed to Chicasawahy Bridge,on Dec0,1864 they encountered Col.McCulloch's Cavalry Briade,which conisted of nd Missouri,15th Mississippi Cavalry,8th Mississippi Cavlry,and wilis Texas Cavalry.This part of my research on Davidson's expedion.
