I need some informantion on two Artillery units in Davidson's Expedition against the Mobile and Ohio railroad.The OR's list that Davidson had eight field guns.This time in war the union artillery had six gun per battery.The two units was the st Wisconsin Independent Battery Light Arillery and Chicago Mercantile.This expedition is listed in regimental history.I guess Davidson pulled four guns from each unit.Any informantion or ideas would be helpful.
