I am finally able to announce the first meeting of the season for the Civil War Round Table of Central Louisiana. After a delay caused by the hurricane, the meeting will start at 6 pm Thursday, Sept. 11 at Room 107 of the Bo Nipper Bldg. (also known as the Continuing Education Bldg.) on the campus of Louisiana State University at Alexandria. Meals will be catered by Niko's Italian Restaurant. This month's speaker will be David Madden of LSU who will talk on "Abraham Lincoln's Relentless Effort to Bring Louisiana Back into the Union".
Everyone is invited to attend.
