I am researching Scott's Louisiana cavalry brigade in 1865. At this time this unit was attached to the command of Brig. Gen Wm Wirt Adams. In April 1865 Adams cavarly entered west Alabama and skirmished with Croxton's brigade of Wilson's corps. Scott evidently was under arrest at the time and confined in Meridian, Ogden commanded Scott's troops at this engagement on April 6, 1865, in Pickens County, Alabama. ANY information on the carreers of these two officers would be appreciated.
