And should you or any of your kinfolk be interested, Joseph Brent has an entire chapter dedicated to his adventures capturing the USS Indianola in the recently published "Earthen Walls, Iron Men: Fort DeRussy, Louisiana and the Defense of Red River" (University of Tennessee Press, 2007). Joe Brent was definitely one of the Iron Men.
