No, it's definitely correct.

I've seen it mentioned on this website in the 2002 archives, as well as discovering mentions on other history sites. It seems several Texas units under the command of Polignac spent a good portion of 1863 in this Camp.

It appears it was near Shreveport. I assume it was named after Col. Allston, the inspector general in the Trans-Miss.
