Already mined the Louisville Daily Courier and the Louisville Daily Journal (Yankee leaning). Got lots of stuff. My annotated bibliography for the three battalion that would eventually become the 1st Kentucky Regiment, part of Sam Jones', D. R. Jones', and G. T. Anderson's Brigade numbers about 60 pages. I have a modest number of pages in my 1st Kentucky Regiment annotated bibliography.

My bibliographies for all the units assigned to the brigade numbers just over 1,000 pages and is still growing.

Still, there are always gaps. I am looking intently for information on the formation of the companies outside Louisville. Finding newspapers or letters/diaries has proved challenging. I would think that the University of Kentucky should have something, but I have not been able to find out yet.
