The Kentucky in the Civil War Message Board

Dedication

To anyone who is interested: There will be a dedication of a tombstone for Union soldier Corporal Thomas Franklin Crady, Company K, 26th Kentucky Infantry, at the Castleman Cemetery in Larue County, Kentucky, on July 4, 2015, by the Sons of Union Veterans at 11:00 a.m. Corp. Crady was home on leave from his regiment when he was brutally murdered by guerrillas Henry Magruder and Sol Thompson. Both of which were charged and convicted of the crime. To my knowledge Corp. Crady has never had a tombstone upon his grave.
Anyone needing directions or any other information can write me at stevenw105@comcast.net Thank you.
