I am looking for a possible burial location for Ellis W. Wigginton (various spellings) who was a 19 yr. old Private with the 13th KY Infantry, Co. D. He enlisted on 9/26/61 at Camp Hobson KY and died on 11/22/61. A casualty sheet lists typhoid fever as the cause of death (other records state pneumonia) and is certified by Capt BP Estes at Camp Andy Johnson. Some info shows that he died at Campbellsville KY. What are some possible locations for his burial? He was from Adair Co. KY. Is it likely at this point in the war that he was taken home for burial? Any information is greatly appreciated! Thanks.
