Searching for letters, journals, and other personal documents referencing the life and military service of David Long, who served as a private in Company F of the 108th U.S. Colored Infantry. He enlisted in the regiment at Louisville, Kentucky, in June 1864. He is also known as Davies Long. After the war he settled in Kentucky and married a woman named Corah. He filed for a government pension in 1892. Any and all help appreciated.
