Jacob Stanford, 108th USCT

Searching for letters, journals, and other personal documents referencing the life and military service of Jacob "Jake" Stanford, who served as a corporal in Company F of the 108th U.S. Colored Infantry. His last name is also spelled Standaford, Standerford and Standiford. Born in Kentucky about 1845, he lived in Indianapolis, Indiana, after the war. He died in 1904 while a resident at the U.S. National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers at Marion, Indiana. Any and all help appreciated.
