Thank you so much, Linda, for your help. After I posted this query, I continued to tinker around on the internet which I have done on this many times before. It just takes looking in the right place! I first discovered that a number of those who died and were buried in/around Bowling Green, KY, during the war were reinterred in the Nashville National Cemetery. I continued checking to learn that he indeed was there recorded with the notation that he had originally been buried in Bowling Green, KY. Thanks again for your help. Much luck to you in your search.
