Mr. Messer,
I wasn't sure how to best contact you. I've read your posts regarding the bridges built on the Beale Road. I have recently uncovered the location of the Bridge Location on Redbank Creek which seems to have been lost for many years. The peers I believe had been previously silted in but the creek as shifted over the last few years uncovering them. In addition while metal detecting I found what I believe to be the original sign for the bridge. The old wagon road can still be seen thru the woods as well as what I believe to be the original crossing. There is an old hand dug well next to what was a home place that the road passes by. I would like to discuss this with you more in depth as I'm seeming to have great difficulty in finding out much about the actual construction of the bridge. I have found the Beale Map which indicate the crossing as well as the Camp (#3) which is next to the bridge. I also believe I have located another bridge on Cache Creek. Btw, I can send you some different pics showing you the bridge abutments as well as the sign.
