J. J. Wamble [sic], Private, Company D, 30th Regiment Texas Cavalry, enlisted January 1, 1863 at Florence by W. R. Bratton for 3 years or the war, recorded present at the Jul/Aug, 1863 muster,* no other records

* Believe they were then stationed at Camp Middle Boggy, Choctaw Nation

Note, there are no subsequent Company D muster rolls found in these records

The 30th Regiment Texas Cavalry (also known as the 1st Regiment Texas Partisan Rangers and as Gurley’s Regiment Texas Partisan Rangers) was organized August 18, 1862, with ten companies, A to K
