Thanks. Great information. I "know" the Stidhams from my volunteer research on the Creeks for Dr. Waselkove's book, A Conquering Spirit: Fort Mims and the Redstick War 1813-1814. You also mentioned Cooper. I had run across his name. Granville McPherson's newspaper, the Star, in Caddo was said to the the "organ" of the Cooper faction. I didn't know anything about him. Anything else you have or can direct me to will be helpful.
