off topic: 1890 Chickasaw Nation cen, transcribed

Some researchers may not know that the 1890 Indian Territory census survived a fire that destroyed most of the 1890 U.S. Census.
.
Below is my "1890 Census of Chickasaw Nation, I.T." entry from my bibliography.
.
Rex, Joyce Alice (Schnell), "1890 Census of Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory", 3 volumes, Purcell, Oklahoma, McClain County Genealogical Society (1993), total 357pp. ... "Book 1, Pontotoc County" (Includes present Oklahoma Counties: McClain, Pontotoc, plus portions of Garvin, Murray, Grady, Coal, and Johnston; also includes 1878 Annuity Rolls data.), 141pp. ... "Book 2, Pickens County" (Includes present Oklahoma Counties: Carter, Love, Marshall plus portions of Garvin, Grady, Stephens, Jefferson, Murray, and Johnston), 131pp. ... "Book 3, Tishomingo and Panola Counties" (Includes present Oklahoma Counties: Bryan plus portions of Johnston, Pontotoc and Murray, includes 1878 Annuity Rolls data of Panola, Tishomingo, and part of Pontotoc Counties), 85pp. ... A legal description and post office is included for each residence.
.
Joyce Rex, who moved to Oklahoma as an adult, spent five years transcribing, interpreting and indexing this hard-to-read census then gave it to the McClain County OK Historical and Genealogical Society. Very few native Oklhomans have contributed more to our Oklahoma history.
.
In the "1890 Census of Pickens County" book, I have known all of my life at least one family on every page.
