my family owns land south of fittstown, ok, in pontotoc county, and one pasture on our place has been known as the "Colbert Pasture" for as long as i have been alive...also a small spring with a rock house built over it called "Colbert Spring." our place is about 4 miles south of fittstown, in the chickasaw nation.
