The name of Carr was well known by the Creek Indians in the pre-removal period 1820's-30 when "Chief William McIntosh was still alive. he(Carr) was a Indian agent and had something to do with the Creek schools? He's briefly in the book by
Halbert & Ball and the reconstruction period after the Creek wars? Its on online some place, but its been a few years since I've read it. can't remember his first name?---SORRY but no help yet on the Cochran's-Cherokee-or other wise.I'm still working on it,my old computer/is dead/so all infor is lost I'm starting a new machine until I can't get the infor back from the old machine yet-(no power)I'm a little/lot lost.My E-Email should- will work now.-Danny K-
