I have a strange request. I dont know if this man actually existed or not. I have purported family documents that to me are of dubious origin. It states a half Spaniard half Cherokee man named Robert Casto or Castillo, also called Dick Spaniard, also called So-sa, also called Johnson, enlisted in the CSA forces in the Indian Territory about 1863. He was suppodely killed in Tahlequah in 1865. Can anyone help me with this? Did such a man actually exist? Many Thanks...dave casto
