My 3rd great grandfather was William Washington Honea. He served in Co.D,Ralston's Battalion, Georgia Cavalry. I have gathered info on this unit but need more. There were 500 men in the battalion but I have found less than 30. They were in the Dept. of Northern Georgia under Gen.William T.Wofford. They surrendered and were paroled in May 1865 in Kingston, Ga. Any further info would be appreciated.
