Re: Functions of the Home Guard in the War

In reference to the Home Guard in Kentucky I have information that a man named Ike Ponder or Ike Ponders was
killed by the Home Guard at Glencarin Ridge, Rogers, KY 41365 and buried in a graveyard at same location. Some of
the older folks say the graveyard is a civil war graveyard
in which Ika Ponder(S) was the first to be buried there.
Also that there are up to 30 civil war soldiers buried there. My question or message is...are there any official
records on Ike Ponder(s)?
