My grt grt grand father Wm. Martin Smith was relased from Macon Co.,GA in the Spring of 1865.

He was a Confederate Calvary Sgt. for the 22nd Dragoons Calvary Unit TX-AL.

Was Camp Oglethorpe, Macon, Georgia the only camp in Macon,GA IN 1865. It does not state which camp in Macon,GA he was released from but it has the release officers names on the paper if this will help narrow down the camp.
