You indicated he was born in Fort Valley.

Do you know where he was residing when the war broke out?

What were his parents' names?

On the rejected AL pension application, did he indicate he was with the 58th GA ?

Have you seen the actual rejection letter from the state of AL ? I saw the entry on
Ancestry.com, but not the actual denial letter, or his application. Both should be
available from the AL Dept of Archives & History in Montgomery.
